A Wizard’s morning routine:
Ahh, mornings. In my opinion the best time of the day. I’ll be honest with you, I wasn’t always an early bird. The first hundred years of my life, I liked to sleep in and wake up some time in the afternoon.
But now, as I’ve grown older and even wiser, I like to get up and rise with the sun!
Today, I would like to share with you how I start my day and set myself up for great wizardness.
When I’ve woken up and gotten out of bed, the first thing I do is go feed my cat.
No wait! Scratch that.
The first thing I do is put on my monocle. Crucial! If you forget to put on your monocle (as I sadly have a few times) your entire day could be doomed!
Now that I’ve put on my monocle, I’ll feed the cat.
Then, I’ll make myself a bowl of delicious oatmeal.
Remember, breakfast is very important everyone! You don’t want to wander around being all cranky and messing up spells because your brain is starving, do you?
When I’ve finished my breakfast, I like to do a gentle yoga-practice, just to soothe the mind and get rid of all the stiffness from sleeping.
(Should you be suffering from a curse or any sort of goblin-imposed thoughts, this can help a great deal.)

When I’ve finished my yoga practice, I sit down and journal for a bit.
I like to write down three genius things I’ve already done and three amazing things I’m going to do soon.
Then, if I have an urgent matter to tend to that day (say, fighting a dragon), I’ll go do that now. Otherwise, I’ll sit down in my favourite armchair and knit until lunchtime.
